1Board of DirectorsThe Board consists of a Chairman and eight other members including one member who is an Officer of Government. The Board is constituted by the Government. The present Board was nominated in the year 2025 vide notification no. 2/19/2007/HSG/Part/102 dated 28/10/2025: (1) Shri Jit Arolkar — Chairman, (2) Adv. Shri Sunil Shetye — Member, (3) Shri Sagar Chandrakant Tilve — Member, (4) Shri Pravin Bhanudas Vaigankar — Member, (5) Secretary (Housing) or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary — Member, (6) Managing Director — Member Secretary, (7) Shri Kishor Asnodkar, r/o Porvorim Goa — Member, (8) Shri Shankar @ Suraj Naik, r/o Shiroda Goa — Member, (9) Finance Secretary or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary — Member.
2Managing DirectorNominated by the Government and acts as Chief Executive of the Board. Exercises control and superintendence over other employees. Holds appointing and disciplinary authority. Government rules like Financial Power Rules and Treasury Rules are delegated to him.
3Housing EngineerHead of Technical Sections, holds powers of Superintending Engineer of PWD. Currently vacant; charge is held by the Executive Engineer due to retirement of the previous officer.
4Executive EngineersThere are three divisions — North, South and Planning — each under an Executive Engineer.
5Chief Accounts OfficerHandles financial policies, budgets, salary control, and asset registers. Supervises GPF and pension accounts of staff and officers.
6Assistant Engineers9 Assistant Engineers, each allocated to various construction and land-development sites.
7Assistant ArchitectPrepares architectural layouts and building plans for Board schemes, and obtains approvals from local authorities.
8Office SuperintendentSupervises the administrative branch, handles Board staff matters, and maintains Board meeting minutes.
9Accountant3 Accountants at Head Office and one in each Division. Maintain ledgers, prepare trial balances, handle refunds and budget data.
10Estate Manager / Head ClerkDeals with purchasers, sale-deed drafting, and maintains scheme registers.
11Junior Engineers9 Junior Engineers working under Assistant Engineers.
12Draughtsman Grade IDrafts scaled building / site layout plans with sections and elevations for submission to authorities.
13Upper Division Clerk8 UDCs handling advertisements for premises, scrutiny of applications, and sale / allotment of flats and shops.
14Junior StenographerHandles dictation and typing for the Managing Director and Housing Engineer, including Board meeting documentation.
15Lower Division Clerk8 LDCs performing typing, leave processing, billing, and register / file maintenance.
16Multi Tasking StaffEntry of incoming and outgoing letters; maintenance of entry register, outward files and inward register; ammonia printing and operating duplicating machine; supervising works at sites entrusted to them; attending dispatch work and delivery of correspondence to the Bank, Post Office and other Departments; maintaining dispatch and stamp registers; opening and closing the office, operating the Xerox machine; cleaning of tables, chairs, racks, cupboards; sweeping and cleaning of toilets and floors; removing cobwebs in the office.
